I feel like French cultures have less variety for breakfast foods. They have céréale, crêpe, and un croque monsieur with un café
or des us d'orange. There are a lot of American breakfast foods like biscuits and gravy, pancakes, cereal, fried eggs and ham, bacon, oatmeal and much more. We usually do have coffee or some type of fruit based juice with our breakfast as well.

French Breakfast:
I'm not entirely sure on this, but I believe that French families emphasize family time by eating lunches and dinners together. Many American families do this as well, but not every family does. In my expereince, religious families tend to eat dinners together more because they tend to do things like pray over their food together and such.
In French grocery stores, products are smaller, multipacked -that you can open and take just one out of- and have more fresh options available. Also, their dairy products aren't refirdgerated, which is so wild for an American to think about. French stores also require the use of reusable bags instead of single use plastic bags. American stores are mostly the opposite of this. We still use plastic bags for the most part, our dairy's refridgerated, and if you open a package of something you have to buy the whole package. I think it would be a huge culture shock for me if I had taken a trip to France and not known any of this.
