A typical university experience is four years long. Most colleges offera lot of degree options. I am studying at Cottey College to earn a bachelor's in English which will take four years. I'm in my second year right now. Most colleges require a high school diploma and some type of standarized test scores for acceptance. At Cottey College, most students live on campus in one of our three dorm buildings: Robertson, PEO, or Reeves. But we do have some students who live off campus, and that's usually because it's cheaper and the students live close enough to campus to commute. We also have a Main Hall, Academic Building, Chapel, gym and Fine Arts Building.
As far as I can tell, no profession is specifically gendered. There may be stereotypes on who should work certain professions but there's no rules against who can actually work any jobs. I know that jobs such as social workers or teachers sometimes require employees to be bilingual because it can help the employees connect with the clients or students that they work with.
