Chapter 5A
Dinners at my family's house usually depend on what we have in our pantry or what we afford to go out and buy (I feel like this is common for many families though). Some dinners that we have often is chicken alfredo, fried potatoes and sausage and porkchops with mashed potatoes and corn. Most of our breakfasts are frid eggs with toast or just cereal. Lunches are typically leftovers or whatever you can find to eat. Sometimes I'll go out for lunch, but not very often.
There's a small restaurant in my hometown that my family and I like to go to sometimes. We also like to go to Mcdonald's and Taco Bell or Chinese resturants (Chinese restaurants are my favorite!). Our family gatherings or social gatherings in general usually include some sort of food. It's ususally something we can make in large portions like chili or pulled pork.

We usually shop at our local grocery store or at Dollar General. These stores are pretty close to our house, and they're relatively cheap so it just makes sense to shop there instead of driving over twenty minutes to Walmart. We usually buy whatever we need for dinner that night and maybe a night or two ahead as well. This could be things like bread, milk, cereal, meat, or side dishes (like vegetables or mashed potatoes).
My family doesn't usually eat dinner together at the kitchen table. Every once in awhile we will, but most of the time we eat in the living room while watching whatever's on tv. And our schedules are so different that eating breakfast or lunch together as a family is very rare.
