French vs American Schools
French and American college campuses both have buildings such as residence halls ou résidences, nurses office/wellness center ou l'infirmirie, cafeterias ou la cafétérias and a library ou la bibiliotèque. I believe that most schools have simlar buildings because these buildings are proven to be benefical and neccessary areas for schools. These different buildings give the students a space to do whatever they please,such as reading, eating and just hanging out. At French colleges, students can choose to complete une baccalauréate, une maîtrise, or un doctorate, which are equal to a bachelor's degree, master's degree, and doctorial degree. These students may choose to specialize in one just subject, this is called une spécialization, or they can have a major in something, called une majeur ou une concentration, with a minor in something else, called une mineure.
