Chapter 2 Part A

I have quite a few friends and I have different levels of closeness with each of them. My best friends are my roommate Sam and my boyfriend Levi. And of course I have friends outside of Sam and Levi. I have a great group of friends on Cottey's campus and a group back home as well. The last time I made new friends was probably in August when the school year started and I got to meet some new freshmen! I don't consider everyone that I know my friends. It depends on how close I am with them if I consider them my friends or not -the closer I am with you the more likely I am to call you my friend. But, if I'm with someone I'm not really close with and I need to introduce them to someone, I will probably call them my friend. In terms of leisure activities -I play on my phone a lot. Chapter 1 Part B

French families are very close knit. It's common for family members to just show up at your house for dinner or to check in on you. French families are very respectful towards their elderly relatives and take care of them as well as they can. My family is close knit, but I wouldn't say that we're extremely close knit. Seeing my extended family is normally a scheduled event, it's not very often that we just show up.We do respect our grandparents and take care of them when needed though. And we do care for and take care of each other when needed as well. Invatations do looks very similar in France and America! Most invitations in french and american cultures have fun pictures on them for the event and they usually have time, date, place and what the event is. My Family Tree

So, I have a very blended family and I thought that the best way to show this would be through two different trees. This tree starts with my paternal grand-pére, Merl Farmer and my grand-mére, Darlene. Merl as 68 ans e Darlene décédé. Merl and Darlene had cinq enfants: Vanessa, Jeremiah, Jackie, Felicia and CLyde. Vanessa, mon taunt, as 45 ans. Jeremiah, mon pére, as 43 ans. Jackie, mon taunt, as 38 ans. Felicia, mon taunt,décédé. Clyde, mon oncle, as 35 ans. The other side of the tree is my maternal grandparents, my grand-pére, Larry and my grand-mére, Brenda. Brenda and Larry had deux enfants: Adriane and Nathan. Larry as 70 ans e Brenda décédé. Mon oncle, Nathan e mon mére, Adriane décédé aussi. But, my dad Jeremiah and my mom Adriane had quatre enfants: Natasha, Sara, Tori (me) and Joey. Natasha, mon soeur, as 28 ans.
